Something I've discovered throughout this photographic journey is that sometimes you just love a photo even if it doesn't come close to following the rules or meeting and technical requirements of a "good" photo. And that it's okay to love an image that probably most everyone else will find to be faulted. Today's image is just that...it's not in focus and probably would be tossed in the reject pile by most photographers but for some reason I am drawn to the movement of the water below the leaves, the color variation of leaves, and the way the lack of correct focus kind of makes it look like it was painted by hand rather than created by a camera.

This weekend we traveled to Pullman, Washington to see the Bobcats take on the cougars of Washington State University. This photo is not a particularly great one, but I love the moment..I took it right after MSU's quarterback threw a fleaflicker pass for a touchdown and all the Bobcat fans went crazy. Not that I could explain to you what a fleaflicker pass is, but it was pretty cool :)
