The first photo of these two is one of my favorites. As you can probably tell from previous posts, I love when a photograph possesses a "painterly" quality. And to me, the photo of the roses is a perfect example...it's as if the glints of light, shadows and highlights were added perfectly by the stroke of a brush instead of the rays of the sun.
